Could be my favorite lighthouse yet

Parents are visiting us and took us to their favorite golf course bar for some drinks this evening. As much as I detest golf, I must admit golf courses attract some cool birds. Spotted this evening: Belted Kingfisher, Curved Billed Trasher, Neotropic Cormorant, and Great Blue Heron. 🪶

Finished up a big chapter of our lives and left Memphis a few days ago. Spent new years with family in OKC and have now settled in Phoenix for the next few months. It’s been a wonderful change so far! The weather is lovely and we’ve got lots of new birds to discover.

Happy thanksgiving everyone. Had a small get together this year, but still went all out with the spread. I made the turkey, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and I helped chop the veggies for the stuffing (or dressing). Grateful for my friends who could join :~)

Lovely final day in Rhode Island. Will be back in a few weeks, thankfully.
