My favourite thing about Karate Kid is that Ralph Macchio is like 23 in it, so we’re rooting for this adult man to beat up teenagers in a children’s karate tournament.
I also like that he’s older than Thomas Ian Griffith, so I spent most of Cobra Kai forgetting that Terry Silver was Kreese’s ‘Nam buddy and kept thinking of him as another karate teen he trained after Johnny
