I don't understand the educational point of reenactments. Why is it better than just reading about them? What additional understanding does it provide and why do I need it? To me it's always felt like taking a victory lap (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just the vibe I get).

Yeah this makes it sound like he fell off, when really he was never on. His books have always sucked, and he just added one more to the pile.
