I read a very interesting book years ago about the amount a life a fallen tree sustains. Of course, I cannot remember the title 👴🏻 Might have been The Overstory but it’s a novel.

Interesting. I imagine that living where you are, among so many airbases etc that might feature highly in any child’s nightmares. Mine were more around the IRA shooting at local army bases in West Belfast. Helicopters and a machine gun soundtrack filled our evenings.

The line I’ve heard is “if you put enough oil on your kale, it’s easier to scrape off the plate straight into the bin” 😂 I’ve also heard it called angry lettuce. In either case, nope. 🤢

The reverse betrayal for me is that occasionally my cherry scone was only once in its life within 6ft of the cherry bowl and hardly partook. Plain scones? Why? 🤷🏽
