I deeply loved this storytelling adventure, and I haven’t even mentioned the characters! The characters! Would that we cherished art for art’s sake and funded it through the nose. Capitalism be damned on a broken trolley and sent to smother under the muck of the swamp.
Right? Best adaptation of Greek mythology to modern times I'd ever seen.

There was a brief window from around 2012-2019 where many creative television shows had the chance to not only survive a first season, but actually thrive in the new media landscape. We might as well be back in the 1990s again in terms of where we are with the viability of innovative television.
I just saw this too. It's a shame as it was well written, well acted, well made, well everything! It was also different too. We were looking forward to a second season to see where they took it.
