Comics for sale on the newsstands 75 years ago this month.

The Marvel Family #34. The cover by C.C. Beck shows Captain Marvel, Mary Marvel, and Captain Marvel Jr. trying to catch Doctor Sivana, who is tiny like Antman and wearing a rocket pack.
Crime Does Not Pay #74. The cover by Charles Biro shows a man jumping out the window after the police threw tear gas inside. Four cops with guns drawn are waiting for him.
Jungle Comics #112. The cover by John Celardo shows a man wearing a leopard-skin loincloth rescuing a woman who is wearing just a leopard skin bikini from a tiger.

Oh dear. The cover to "Jungle Comics" shows us that cover-girls with corkscrew posture, thus showing bust and hips simultaneously, is not a new phenomenon. (Also noting that both Ka'a'nga and the damsel are caucasian.)
