Today is the birthday of artist Ramona Fradon (Oct. 2, 1926-Feb. 24, 2024). Most known for cocreating Metamorpho and her work on Aquaman, Superfriends, Plastic Man, and the comic strip Brenda Starr, Reporter.

I say this about Carl Barks all the time, but Ramona Fradon was another one, an artist whose work just fills me with absolute joy any time I happen to see it, no matter what else is going on.
