2. Fill up the system batteries (about 62 kWh worth). 3. When both #1 and #2 are met, export to the power grid - but limit the output to 50 kW. 4. If #1, #2, and #3 are being met - the inverters will cause the solar panels to "clip" (adjust settings to not turn sunlight into electricity).

One really nice added benefit of the system is that is it also going to be registered within the Rhode Island Energy Networked Solutions program - which means the battery will be part of the state's #energystorage peaking virtual power plant.
