Just thinking about how earlier this year I got told my PTSD related to suicide doesn't matter to someone because they have trauma also. Imagine treating trauma like a competition, and discrediting anyone that you feel doesn't have it as bad as you feel you do.

As shitty as losing someone close to you to suicide is, It's somehow shittier finding out how absolutely cruel people around you are in how they react to it. I guess I'll never know if it's that they've never had the experience and don't understand or if they think it's the right way to respond.
