I feel like it’s increasingly more and more common in Czechia. In my opinion the marketing and corporate push towards selling themed stuff is just getting either more clever or more aggressive each passing year.

Oh yeah the Halloween marketing gets pretty outrageous here too. Stores will usually stock their auxiliary shelves entirely with costumes and the like 8 weeks before Halloween happens lol
