If it typset as well as pdflatex and there was a tikz replacement that was even 50% as insane as tikz, I'd be totally in.
Because it uses actual programming concepts and idioms, drawing objects is supported out of the box. But cetz is there for more complicated cases. typst.app/docs/referen...
