Oy, there's the run that explains why the hungarian data is so low as if cirrhosis of the liver were unrelated to alcoholism.
It's interesting that the consumption/person in the US isn't much less (~88%) than the consumption/person in Russia but the death rate for alcohol related disorders is more than 45 times the rate in the US. It'd be interesting to know the reason (greater rate of heavy drinking in Russa, etc.)
