painfully familiar. I used to visualize it as stacking a tower of delicate teacups that need constant attention... that one interruption crashing everything down.
I had a productivity line chart where "You, interrupting me" was marked out and sent it back to the bottom as a wallpaper at a job where everyone interrupted me all the time. Only one guy ever noticed it. 😅
And this is why I never get anything done at home, having two kids means frequent interruptions throughout the day

oof, this is why interruptions are so rage-inducing for me. it’s a viscerally wrenching feeling, losing focus. I need to learn not to be a monster about it, don’t have a good strategy though.
