oh god what a terrible, sad story.

same problems in Aetna - as the article describes, "the providers listed in an insurer’s network have either retired or died. Many other providers have stopped accepting insurance — often because the companies made it excessively difficult for them to do so. Some just aren’t taking new patients."

That was heartbreaking

Just utterly horrendous, and far too common

This whole article makes me want to cry I have so been there I know so many people right there now The mental health care infrastructure isn’t just criminal, it’s murder

Have been thinking about this all day. I have many years of experience finding psychs/therapists and when we moved it was so hard to find an in network psych that was also taking new patients, I just gave up an went to a private one after floundering for 8 months.

Yeah, this was such a heartbreaking article.

This fills me with white-knuckled rage.

so horrifying to read the story when the victim and family tried so hard to get help.
