same problems in Aetna - as the article describes, "the providers listed in an insurer’s network have either retired or died. Many other providers have stopped accepting insurance — often because the companies made it excessively difficult for them to do so. Some just aren’t taking new patients."

Have been thinking about this all day. I have many years of experience finding psychs/therapists and when we moved it was so hard to find an in network psych that was also taking new patients, I just gave up an went to a private one after floundering for 8 months.
Yeah, this was such a heartbreaking article.
This fills me with white-knuckled rage.
