Elections aren’t for the weak-stomached. They don’t get decided in advance like we want to believe because of the models.

There is literally no way to know that a poll in July is an accurate representation of what an election would look like if it happened in July, and this is a deeply important caveat to polling that gets lost in the easy to write headlines.
