I'm starting off my October horror movie viewing with The Toolbox Murders (1978). I'm 23 minutes in, and based on the terrible musical choices several victims have made, I'm ready to loan the killer my chainsaw if he needs it.
This is my last overnight shift of the week, and I'm going to spend most of it planning which horror movies I'm going to watch in October for the Scarecrow Video 2024 Psychotronic Challenge. This year, I'm going to try and watch as many movies with my daughter as possible. #HorrorSky#Horror
I went to see The Substance tonight, and I was not properly prepared for how friggin' bonkers the last act is. It's easily one of my favorites for the year. #HorrorSky#Horror
It took a little while for me to migrate over because I didn't know anyone who had invites to share.
While going through some old stuff, I found my vial of soil from the original Evil Dead cabin. Nice! #HorrorSky
I'm watching Wes Craven's Shocker for the first time tonight, and I was not prepared for how deeply silly this whole movie is. #HorrorSky
Well, shit. I dodged it longer than most, but after 4+ years, I tested positive for covid. So far, it feels like just a mildly annoying cold, or when my autumn allergies come around.
My daughter (age 11) watched The Thing for the first time this past weekend. We're a few minutes in, and she says, "Dad, the dog is going to be okay, right?" My response was to grimace and say, "The answer is a little complicated." She did not like this answer. #HorrorSky
All hail Corman! #TheLastDriveIn
