like, this is enshrined in law (article 185 Wvw if anyone's wondering), cyclists and pedestrians are considered 'weak participants in traffic' or w/e and the driver is automatically at fault in case of an accident, barring some very specific situations

and from how i've heard drivers talk about this fact, i legitimately think this helps reign in some people who would otherwise be bigger dickheads
