A few people asked me how they can process their own JWST images. It's super easy, doesn't require deep technical knowledge and is available for everyone to do right now! I wrote a step-by-step guide of what you'll need, what to expect and how to start developing your own JWST images! 🔭🧪

I should also note that JWST Feed is a really helpful site to do this. They upload a ton of raw data.

All of the above images have been processed by me, at home - so anyone can do the same. I think this is such a nice way to get public engagement - teachers could get students to do this! It puts the science back into the general publics hands to play with. I hope @sarahkendrew.bsky.social likes!
