Experienced one of the most wonderful sunsets yesterday. We went out to Lake Tyrell - an ancient, inland salt lake that has salt beaches. The calm, flat water reflected so well, I couldn’t tell where Earth stopped and the sky began. And then the stars came out (Bortle 1) and it was too much! 😭

It was very other worldly to be there on these salt beaches, and yes, I tried some and it was the most intense salt I’ve ever had! It was like walking through snow and one point! Took lots of night sky photos with DSLR so will process them when home. The stars were reflecting off the lake 😭😭😭
