26. SaGa Anarchy RPG. A game that flips the bird to systems of control, reflected in its devil may care design, ramshackle and busted and held together by scotch tape. Has multiple of my favorite moments in video games. Kawazu is a mad genius. I love and cherish it more than I could ever say.

27. Pocky & Rocky Childhood classic that only holds up better with time. The run 'n gun perfected. Hard as nails but fully considered from every inch. Kind of perfect in that way. Also it's, you know, one of the most charming games ever made so that helps. A curse on whoever did the US box art
