all this time, six had searched high and low for his securitron companion, thinking he’d left of his own accord, or gotten lost somewhere. being confronted by yes-man now, six realized 𝙝𝙚'𝙙 been the culprit in yes-man’s disappearance all along, all thanks to his swiss-cheese of a brain. ++
a shoulder to cry on, a light in the dark. if there was anyone six could call a good friend, it was yes-man. and he’d left him behind. 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠. not that it had been on purpose, but that didn’t wash six of the guilt—𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺. ++
guilt didn’t even 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯 to describe how six felt in the moment. from retrieving the chip, to tossing general oliver off the dam, yes-man had been a 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘀 help. not only had he offered good advice, but he’d also been a solid rock throughout six’s adventures in the wasteland. ++
