Game dev ultimately has to sell a product. You don’t want to alienate any considerable amount of your customer base, and that might mean keeping extreme politicss of any leaning out of games. Furry isn’t selling anything. It can be as political, kinky, and just plain weird as you want it to be.

I mean one could argue furries are selling “products” (fursuits, drawings, stickers, plushies, body pillows). We are just okay with it because we have normalized it, the same way games as an art should be normalized. I appreciate your input but I think there is a misunderstanding.
