I wish I would learn sign. It honestly seemed like something they should teach in school. Not only is it a general accessibility advantage and courtesy, it has numerous potential uses beyond accessibility issues, especially if it was commonly understood.

I was the same until a year ago when I found a zoom class. I've done beginners 4 times. My late 30s brain does not want to take in new information. It should be taught in schools! But regardless- go find yourself a course taught by a deaf tutor and get to learnin'
