If you think Christianity is about blind faith, you need to read 1 Corinthians 15 (the passage in the image below). I love it when Paul says, "30 And why should we ourselves risk our lives hour by hour?" Paul knows that believing in Jesus is dangerous, but because of what he has seen, he knows.

There's also the reality that people may want to live for themselves and not for God. They think of themselves as a kind of god and believe that they know better. And our options are limited at that point.

So... while it hurts my heart to read negative opinions related to God and the Church, I also have to remember that they likely didn't do the necessary research to understand where their misunderstanding is originating from.

We have nearly 2,000 years of history filled with documents written by church leaders and/or Christian philosophers. Unfortunately, going through all of that information isn't something many people want to do. Many Christians want to be spoon-fed biblical theology.

This is why it's important to speak gently when discussing matters related to Christianity with others. Understanding Christianity is a full-time job. For this reason, many Christians rely on what their church leaders say about matters related to the Bible.

For some reason, this platform wanted me to see posts where the author had an unfavorable opinion of Christianity. But... It's important to understand that the vast majority of those thoughts are due to misunderstandings.
