because we haven't been trained from birth by misogyny to get used to our friends, colleagues and romantic partners being seen as lesser than us so trying to replace any of those 3 things with an algorithm carries a more immediate sense of distrust?

I often feel that in order to make it tech industries there is such a higher credibility bar for women that they don't get the luxury for diving into bullshit like this on a user basis because of the extra scrutiny they face.
