Reading this latest Jack Smith filing, it occurred to me that people haven’t quite internalized the reality that in all three cases touching on the insurrection on January 6—by far the darkest day for our democracy since the Civil War—the Supreme Court sided with the insurrectionists in all three.

Jack Smith seems to be adhering to the principle of justice delayed is justice denied. But we're all going to have to really get a better understanding of why Joe picked Merrick Garland and why Merrick waited until the last minute to deal with the leader of an insurrection.

History repeating itself - the pre-Slavers’ Rebellion Supreme Court did a pretty good job encouraging the slavers that slavery was good and constitutional, actually.
