In case you decide to try a different kind, I found celecoxib much gentler (and I took pantoprazole daily to protect my stomach). When I had shooting pain down my arm, Amitriptyline made a huge difference - it treats nerve pain. Keeping the worst pain at bay with consistent meds helped a lot.

Good to know. Alas, I don’t have a doctor, so it’s hard to get changes to my drug plan. I love that sometimes it’s a shooting pain down my arm, sometimes a local pain in my shoulder, sometimes a shooting pain in my collarbone!
