The second month (plus maybe 1-2 weeks) were the worst for me. After that, I was thoroughly fed up and drained, but the gradual improvements helped a lot. Hopefully youâre creating the peak right now. đ¤đ¤đ¤
In case you decide to try a different kind, I found celecoxib much gentler (and I took pantoprazole daily to protect my stomach). When I had shooting pain down my arm, Amitriptyline made a huge difference - it treats nerve pain. Keeping the worst pain at bay with consistent meds helped a lot.
I was shocked by the unrelenting pain. It unraveled me. I hope you have the space to be gentle with yourself and that others are too. â¤ď¸
Naproxen made me so sick. The Dr tried three different anti-inflammatory meds and the third was more effective and better on my stomach. I also took another pill to protect my stomach once a day. Combining anti-inflammatory meds with paracetamol was also effective.
I had a frozen shoulder 2022-23 and it was excruciating- especially the freezing stage. Sending all my sympathy. Drugs for nerve pain ended up helping somewhat - they took a week to work and not make me nauseous though. But itâs brutal.
âThrillâ. Okay then.
Ah I misread that back then! My apologies.
When I read about the story LoTF was inspired by, I kind of hated that it had been written - amp.theguardian.com/books/2020/m...
1. Read and didnât rate. 2. Read and donât plan to read again. 3. Have had for ages and canât see myself reading. 4. If I really want to read again then I could get it from the library etc pretty easily.
