That new project of yours you’re cooking up 👀
Agricola. One of the first true Euros I played as I got introduced to the hobby. Took me years of very sporadic plays before I could grock it. One of the true classics.
Oh what’s this? The incredible masterpiece that is Banjo-Tooie!? I got gifted this as a 10-year old not knowing it was a sequel and vibed with it forever. AND it’s coming to NSO later this month and I am beyond PSYCHED!!!
Space Hulk: Death Angel. It’s a moderately ok card game with theme that just OOZES. Keeping my Space Marines alive in a suicide mission aboard a derelict ship. Checks off all my hype boxes proper.
Memoir ‘44. When I started playing board games nearly 20 years ago, this was one of my first faves and sparked my interest in depictions of history through gaming.
Let’s kick it off right! Ape Escape 3, and the whole series really. This game is pure whimsy and brings out the inner kid in me. Monkeys escaping to take over the world by making mind-control tv programming. Perfect, no notes. Idly hoping for a remaster one day that will never come!
I’d love to talk about what I love, and I’d especially love to hear yours too!! My answers will include: Video games! Board games! TTRPGs!
