Too late. The us government already murdered them. Hundreds of thousands of them.
The problem is that too many people think voting is all about THEM. Nothing will change until the ballot-box navel-gazing stops.

No. Vote for Harris. I don't care how much you think it's in anyone's interest to vote for Trump; vote for Harris. Oh, right, you didn't think of that outcome. You just took for granted that everything thinks like you. Whoops! How embarrassing.
My voting is in part influenced by a college Journalism Ethics class which stressed this approach. That and I basically had that wiring, but it's nice to put a name and 3 credits to it.
