My neighbor’s house this morning (it has been vacant for a while since she passed). Lots of things to be grateful for this morning, lots of reasons to respect the power of storms. Hoping for a swift and productive cleanup and a standing reminder not to travel until roads are cleared and safe!

Completed my first official week of coursework as a Ph.D. student at the incredible FSU Department of Political Science! So unbelievably excited to see where this year goes. Could not have asked for a better cohort or faculty as well - they are simply the best. :) #PhD#FSU#polisci

I had the wonderful privilege to present our research again at the 2nd annual Elections, Public Opinion, and Voting Behavior conference at FSU! There were some absolutely amazing presentations today. It was an absolute honor to present at #SPSA2024 in the Domestic Politics, Foreign Policy, and Public Opinion panel! The feedback we received is much appreciated, so thank you to everyone who was there. WONDERFUL work from the other panelists as well, I am excited to read all of their work soon!

Received my first graduate school acceptance letter today from Johns Hopkins SAIS! Fighting the imposter syndrome has been tough, but seeing “Congratulations” at the top of my screen is slowly convincing me that maybe I am qualified to do things 🤣 Now to panic over the rest of the decisions!
