DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE is by far the densest MCU movie to date. The more you know about the X-comics, the MCU, the Fox-verse, celebrity relationships, and movie development history, the funnier the movie is. It is a film meant to reward the fans for 25 years of loyal fandom. And it is pure joy. 💕it.

The first two Deadpool films primed movie goers for this insane amount of absurdist fan service. And they still weren’t prepared. The best random audience breaking out into applause moment for me? A certain daywalker making his triumphant return to the film universe he brought to life.

This is exactly why I think there have been those that hated it - they don’t see that fandom as being deserving of a reward for what they feel is the ruination of movies
