"Move inland" well, we live inland. "Move to a higher elevation" I literally live on top of a mountain. "Have fewer possessions" most of the people in my area barely have enough to get by as it is, we can't spare our possessions. People are without homes, without food, have lost family.
not to mention that people have been calling asheville a climate change haven!!! i want to physically fight anyone who's trying to blame us for this devastation
People who aren't from Appalachia can't understand and until you're here and see how we live, how most of us are forced to live, you can't fully grasp the ridiculousness of the "just pick up and go" mentality. There's nowhere to go. Climate change is an everywhere problem.
Have you tried forsaking your corporeal form and becoming a transcendent being of pure energy? Don’t worry, Nestle and climate change will team up to find a way to ruin that for you too!
