"People just don't want to have kids anymore."

I wonder how many of those 3 or more families were raised in first generation immigrant households. I came from a 3 kid family but two was enough for me. I also wonder how it breaks down politically and education wise... It's a sharp veer from what they used to tell us about a childless future.
