the dwindling number of major shounen mangas is the number one issue facing future generations and the only policy proposal we’ve seen tossed around this campaign is tax credits for americans who write at least 80 chapters of their own isekai. the genre has been done to death

what about the trend where they just remake previously popular anime, except with a larger budget (e.g. urusei yatsura, ranma 1/2). we could call it "build back better(?)"
