Funny, I've been struggling with a story for a while now, and last night I just sat down and said, "Hell with it, I'm just going to have some fun and write whatever I want." And then writing wasn't so hard anymore.

My mom used to buy me Trixie Belden books from a rack at the grocery store. I remember one night looking up from the book and realizing Mom had called my name several times. I had taken it out of one of the grocery bags and gotten lost in reading it while still standing at the kitchen table.
