"and that's okay" Except it's not! We should be striving for voters to be *more* involved, not *less*. The fact that you're okay with throwing out Democracy sure does explain why you seem to be advocating for an option that's extremely likely to throw the election to Trump!
More importantly, I don't think debates over what is more or less democratic is the most important issue here. Something exceptional happened at the debate last month. The most important thing is to beat Trump, and if you want to win you have to try something new.
