I was in line for about an hour, but I voted! It was great to see so many people getting their vote in early!

I'm happy to be part of the debut performance of the Nashville Swing Stars, Nashville's very own West Coast Swing performance team! We'll be in the Fall Showcase put on by The Ballroom of Nashville this Saturday at the Franklin Theatre.

I have a three-hour dance practice this morning, and I get through it with no trouble. As soon as it's over, I hurt my foot just by walking out the door. I guess that's what happens as you get older.

Bethany alerted me to a Chicago-style pizza food truck in Bellevue today, so I took advantage of it!

(4/4) On the plus side, it's definitely been resolved, and I'm feeling a lot better now. I never would have known that a tortilla chip could cause so much trouble!

(3/4) That appointment was yesterday morning, and sure enough, pieces of that chip were still in there. My gum couldn't get rid of it, so it had to form a kind of pocket around the chip, which what was causing all the pain. My dentist had to dig around in my gums to get out all the pieces.

(2/4) Fast forward to last week. I started feeling so much pain in my jaw that I could barely eat. In fact, I went on a liquid diet for a couple of days to avoid chewing. This wasn't something that I could deal with for long, so I made an emergency dentist appointment.

(1/4) Warning: Gross dental stuff ahead. A couple of months ago, I was eating a tortilla chip and got it stuck in my gum. I thought that it would dissolve eventually, so I didn't think anything about it. I could still feel it in there over the next few weeks, but I assumed it would resolve itself.

In over 20 years of owning cell phones, I have never cracked a screen...until now.

Context: They take krav maga classes together and are sparring partners.
