and idk i just couldnt take the emotions from the past year finally getting to me on the eve of the anniversary of all this. i still think, stupidly, that ppl can become better if only they learn and are educated. im a teacher after all, i have to have faith in that? but its not true.

being told that every bad thing that ever happened to me and genuinely BILLIONS others growing up under the bush admin wasnt real and not that bad is despair inducing. how can you go on knowing ppl will vote against you every chance they have? how can you live knowing you arent human to them?
