I brought my penguin poster to the printer today and I'm genuinely so damn excited to put it up on my own wall, I already decided on a frame. 🐡 #sciart

A natural science poster, upright format, made to look old-fashioned. The background is light brown, slightly darker towards the edges. The title at the top says „Pinguine / Penguins“ and in small, handwritten phonetic spelling beside that „pengwings“. The penguins take up most of the space and are contained within a thin frame. They are all painted as naturalistic studies with gouache and pencils, all in fabulous poses. They are puzzled together as fit, but roughly from top left to bottom right: gentoo penguin, adélie penguin, chinstrap penguin, emperor penguin, macaroni penguin, erect-crested penguin, royal penguin, northern rockhopper penguin, king penguin, fiordland penguin, snares penguin, magellanic penguin, Pingu, african penguin, yellow-eyed penguin, australian little penguin, little penguin, southern rockhopper penguin, galápagos penguin, humboldt penguin. Each has a number beside it corresponding to a number in the legend below, stating their Latin, German & English names.

Please don't point out any mistakes at this point, I'm too happy 😂 I believe the two little penguin species are still somewhat debated but seriously look at them - can you blame me for including them twice?
