There continues to be only one way out of the region, the other 3 being cut off due to major road damage (I'm talking interestates, here.) Governor Cooper was in AVL yesterday, along with the head of FEMA, and relief is finally rolling. But many, many areas are completely cut off and will be hard to reach.
