Car enthusiasts and anti-EV consumers are part of the problem. The idea of recharging seems to confuse people. 100-150 miles a day average use, 300 mile range is sufficient (charge @ night). Less money on maintenence to be made. Self driving cars and insurance companies will force a fast change.
