(4/) Iām not sure whatās next, but maybe Iāll screw around on OG Pond and Robocod for a bit. Also, Iām definitely going to ask my friend whoās good friends IRL with a certain content creator if the latter has ever āsmoked this shitā. āTil next game!
(3/) Iām in awe of barleybap (not tagging since sheās on a leave of absence) knocking this one out in 22 hours. 12.5 minutes per stage seems bonkers to me in a game thatās longer than Sonic 3 + Knuckles combined. But hats off to her for that accomplishment and lots of great advice!
(2/) It took me 13 days to make it all the way through and probably something like 60-70 hours. That sounds like I was slow, and maybe I was, but weāre talking 104 stages, collecting every last teacup and all the other trinkets, and a lot of learning. A LOT.
(1/) Victory at last! James Pond 3 is an experience thatās left me with many conflicting emotions, but it was mostly a rockinā good time despite the speed bumps. Iām still in awe of how meaty this game is and how skillfully these guys cooked.
Thatās amazing!
Iām glad that Walz expressed his disappointment about the U.S. never getting Sengoku Turb.
This was probably the only time Iāve ever stumbled into legitimate treasure on eBay. The seller had four protos and two test carts mixed in with vanilla Genesis junk. I lucked into it while looking for a replacement art insert for my copy of MKII or something mundane like that.
(Also, ran out of space, but yes, itās dumped/preserved)
Mid-tier. Itās no Super Monaco GP.
Reskeet with a game you own that most people donāt. This is a late build prototype of Devilish (probably a review copy). I donāt think there are many differences beyond some text on the title screen. I have a few of these, but this one is special just because Hitoshi Sakimotoās soundtrack is GOAT.
