Just barely managed to catch the tail end of peak solar storm tonight. The Northern Lights were faint to the naked eye by the time I got out to see them — I read the hourly predictions of my app wrong — but night mode came through with some spectacular views. #northernlights#auroraborealis

Thank you! It went super quick. I thought it’d be an hour long each week, but the 1st Monday of the month is apparently a very short meeting. I’m a little more optimistic about the whole thing now. The vibes felt welcoming & easy going.

I went. Turns out the 1st meeting of the month is quick & more about introducing a new author & writing exercises based on that author. I expected to spend an hour doing those exercises, but apparently it’s on your own. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The middle Mondays are for silent writing. The vibes felt good though so, yay?

So, uh, last week I talked myself into joining my local library writer’s group for some external motivation. Reached out, got all the info, did the thing. The first meeting for me is in an hour. Now I’m nervous & second-guessing my decision. Help. 🫣
