Misleading headline. This was pretty chill, especially given the last one (Holyday), and the majority of speakers were both residents *and* in favour of the Bloor bike lanes, so it’s silly to suggest that somehow this is a locals-vs-bikes thing. #VisionZero#BikeTO#WalkTO#ONpoli#TOpoli

A Toronto Star headline reads “Residents, cyclists clash at Etobicoke bike lanes meeting”. Below is a photo of maybe 20 cyclists waiting to turn left from the middle lane at an intersection while several more roll up behind them.

Also, I met a lovely woman named Carol. We were more or less diametrically opposed on bike lanes, but found common ground in agreeing that Doug Ford is a dangerous asshat who needs to be yeeted from any position of responsibility ASAP. We did a fist bump. ❤️ across the aisle.
