Probably 3 or 4 times I've been told that. Never made sense to me.

Literally had the exact same thought. Isn't this the same guy who got punched by that Montana politician years ago? He was writing for the Guardian wtf

Unrelated question, may I ask what shelves these are? Trying to find a clean solution for storing my games that also keeps them accessible. This looks very nice and convenient.

I was 5 when the n64 launched but I played it all my childhood and really don’t ever remember struggling outside of the occasional game that used the left prong instead of the middle. So maybe I was confused why it even had a dpad. I think I was just memorized by the games

I’m nearly positive they were not sold on the future of 3d controls so the design is entirely meant to account for that. They could fall back to the standard dpad. Essentially it’s 2 separate controllers glued together. But I don’t have a source for this so take it with a grain of salt

This resonates with me. I read Great Gatsby in hs, hated it, don’t even remember why just had bad memories. Last year I decided to reread it since people always say its one of their favorites from school and total 180 on my opinion. It was fantastic, because I could actually relate as an adult
