I disagree with that narrative. People who voted for him would never have voted Democrat no matter how bad the Republican candidate was. They didn't learn anything. He won because of 1) voter suppression and B) people who didn't bother voting because they thought he could never win.

And don't forget that he lost the popular vote. He didn't win the hearts and minds of America.
