I heard an interview with an “undecided voter” saying they were “waiting to see” where Harris stands on abortion. This is the most powerful segment of ordinary citizens in the country.

Single issue voters on all sides will destroy this country. That inability to consider anything other than the narrowest parameter, especially when it has no bearing on your own day-to-day existence, is a dangerous ignorance.

Pure ignorance is a really big factor in all this. My son just turned 18 and he says most all of his peers get their news from TikTok. Accuracy is not a thing there. (Not saying the mainstream media is super accurate these days either!)

Sometimes I get a little worried about, well, everything, when I think about how in a room of 100 people, one or two of them at least are gonna have just the weirdest, dumbest beliefs. Like, "The Democrat Party is the party of slavery, which is why I'm excited to vote for Kamala Harris" level stuff
