Which would be more useful for terminal MA students in an Applied Philosophy program, a DH/text mining course or traditional stats? #cssky#dh#philsky

DH text miner here. I would go with the stats. It’s foundational and also philosophically interesting imo.

What do they tend to want to do after? I’d err on the latter side (despite loving the former) since good statistical reasoning and basic data handling is so valuable for such a wide variety of applications
