I think it's going to depend on how the texture of the two cloths drapes and catches the light etc. If they're close but not close enough it might be an uncanny valley situation. But I think the pattern is going to help there.

we calculated cost of program, cost of commute + opportunity cost of working at minimum wage for 300 hours. true cost of CPE is ~$8,000.

Ah yes. On a generous reading: It’s from The Americans subreddit which is set in the early 80s and so most cars on the road would have been from the 70s which had its fair share of land yachts.
